Paying the Annual Vehicle Tax..

Its nearly the end of July and reaching August I must start thinking about.. paying the annual vechile tax..

the previuos tax payment was totalled Rp. 388.000,-

Total Rp. 388.000,-

Changing the Machine Oil

After changing at Laris Depot BBM, Jl. Godean KM 4,2 Kajor, the maching and gear oil, I recieved a small paper tag placed on the streering wheel of my car, it was written on it as follows:

This was the first time i actual buy oil for my car.. and filled it up.. i knew that this is a part of the maintance of the car.. for my car to be healthy it needs to be regulary maintain.. oke.

Full Tank...

Due to economical reasons.. i usually do not have a full tank of fuel usually only 3/4 being filled..
But for today,24 July 2008, after holding a pile of cash which will be used to go to bali, like buying the tickets, and other expenses.

So in the morning i have i buy Rp 200.000,- of fuel... which totals to 33.33 liters.. in the fuel station Gejayan.

What is interesting for me is, who long will this last? for how days? what is the ratio between one liter and how many kilometers?

So the starting kilometer, after the a full tank is 54.844 km at 7:35am, and when i arrived in office at 7:56 am whic means i had a 20 monute run... 54.858 km...

How is the distance from the fuel station to office? 54.858 - 54.844 = 14 km ..

So how much km for 33.33 liters of Fuel? To know this we should also consider when the car is being warmed up in the morning for about 10 - 15 minutes.

Services for an old car...

Like people cars need attention...

In this case my old vw... super beetle..

there seems to be problems with the balance of the car.. evertime i go over 70 km/h..

it starts to rummble and shake...

so... i had to Balance it.. all 4 wheels.. which costed me a total of Rp. 100.000,- and an additional sporing which cost me about another Rp 50.000,- which i don't know what it is for actually...

another.. thing which was needed is for 1 galon of Respol Elite 2010-50, 3 botols of Spiraz6x75w-90 and 5 liters of fuel.. which cost me Rp 341.000,-

so basically that day 28 June 2008.. i have used up about Rp 500.000,- for a my car..

now it is as good as new.. well not really but it is better than before..
